The Somali Family Safety Task Force, in partnership with Seattle Public Libraries, provides a 10-week intro to Digital Literacy course at our NewHolly Campus. Our Digital Literacy program is designed to to provide low-income East African mothers living in the greater Seattle area with the opportunity to develop basic computer skills in a culturally inclusive and welcoming environment.The class helped them develop important life skills, getting the skills they need to apply for jobs, find information for their families and help their kids with school.
